Reviews

This is a lovely bungalow, well furnished and comfortable and the garden is beautifully maintained and has lots of interest. Access is very good for those with mobility difficulties. For the more adventurous it is an easy walk across footpaths down to Port Eynon beach where there is a good chip shop and cafe. The owners are very friendly and respond quickly to any queries you may have. It was a difficult week in terms of weather for a family beach holiday but there is still a lot to do in the area such as Gower Heritage Centre, Plantasia in Swansea was wonderful (there is also an indoor climbing wall opposite Plantasia); Mumbles Pier is fun. Murmur Y Llanw is well placed for footpaths.

Miss M,

Overall property is quiet and relaxing, very clean. Convenient base to explore the Gower.

Mrs G,

Lovely bungalow with all the things you need for your stay. Garden was lovely and pretty. Lots of seating in the garden.

Mr W,

The bungalow was very clean and well-maintained. It was tastefully and comfortably decorated and furnished, with touches such as footstools and blankets in the living room and conservatory. The garden was lovely with lots of sitting and eating places and ways to enjoy it such as the fire pit, pizza oven and summer house. You can hear the waves crashing onto the beach below - as the name suggests! We liked the empty cupboards in the kitchen so we had somewhere to put our food and picnic items. The bathroom had a large window sill for putting our toiletries. We wish all holiday rental properties were presented like this, the owners had obviously put a lot of thought into it and cared that their guests enjoyed the property to its full. It was a very quiet location on a no-through road and just 10-15 minutes walk to Port Eynon or two ways to reach the coastal path. Just a few niggles - the TV signal is very poor/non-existent so couldn't make use of all the channels, Netflix, etc; the double mattress has very obvious springs and is a bit uncomfortable, the toilet flush sticks a bit and the kitchen needs a washing up bowl to protect the owners' crockery and glassware banging into the hard sink. The owners have been informed of these in the visitors book so I am sure they will be rectified. However, this was one of the best holiday rental properties we have stayed in and had a lovely week here.

Mrs J,

We had a great week in this spotlessly clean cottage just ten minutes walk from the beach.

Amy S,

Murmur Y Llanw is a marvellous holiday home. The gardens are a delight, and we enjoyed reading peacefully in the conservatory. We loved the location, finding beautiful walks from the door as well as nearby attractions within an hour's drive, such as the National Botanic Gardens of Wales. We had lovely meals in The Ship Inn in Port Eynon, The Beach House in Oxwich Bay and King Arthur Hotel. We appreciated, the generous, welcome hamper and the cottage could not have been cleaner. My one suggestion would be to upgrade the mattress on the double bed as it is not up to the same quality as everything else in this delightful property. Having said that, my husband was perfectly happy with it. I am harder to please, however!

Ms S,

We had a lovely weekend in a beautiful part of the world we will definitely return.

Mr Robert L,
