Reviews

Loved the cottage, and the location. Perfect for beach walks with our dog.

Mr C,

Lovely cottage, we were lucky enough to have great weather too

Mrs M,

Ideal location, 100yds from the beach. Very helpful staff, responding promptly to problems. The cottage was very comfortable & well equipped, with a safe enclosed back garden.

Dr B,

The cottage had all amenities including a Bose Bluetooth speaker which you don’t often see. It is very close to the beach. There is a small lawn at the back so suitable for dogs to walk on, the beach has a dog friendly section in high season and there is a field opposite to exercise dogs although partly used as a car park. Note that the location is quite remote with a couple of small shops within a ten minute drive but a 45 minute drive to Swansea for serious stocking of provisions. The cost is not outrageous but was more expensive than a similar property we rented last year in a more popular area of the UK.

Mr H,

Lovely cottage , Lovely location

Mr H,

A lovely cottage in a great location. It is very close to the beach ,pubs and cafes and is well situated for anyone wanting to explore the beautiful Gower peninsula The cottage was clean and well supplied with good quality equipment . The fixtures and fittings were also very good throughout. A perfect holiday destination.

Mrs E,

Cottage is comfortable and well equiped.

Mrs B,

This cottage was extremely well equipped, we had everything we could possibly need to hand, there was a generous supply of things like dishwasher tablets and toilet rolls. We found a long handled broom and dustpan which was useful, a clothes dryer and a stairgate. We really did have a lovely break here, there are so many beautiful quiet beaches nearby too. The towels were really soft and smelt clean as did the bedding. There was nothing we would improve upon except the mattresses were a bit soft for our taste.

Mrs H,

Very nice house, about 50 yards from the beach. If visiting out of season, there’s not much open, but dogs can go on the beach upto 1 May and after September. No big supermarket nearby, so go prepared.

Mrs F,

Location

A bay on the Gower peninsula has been voted Britain's best beach.
