Reviews

Apartment building is in a great setting overlooking the beautiful Caswell Bay. Accommodation fine for couples wanting a short holiday.

Mr S,

This apartment with its wonderful view across Caswell beach is a treat for anyone.

Mr M,

Property could do with some routine maintenance and re-decoration to make it a better rental experience. The location and view of the bay are 10 out of 10.

Mr S,

This apartment has an amazing view overlooking Caswell beach. The lounge area was very comfortable with the advantage of two settees Unfortunately there were a few issues with a leaking kettle and tap, a bathroom that needs updating with an unreliable shower and a very small TV that is more suitable for a bedroom. The balcony furniture also needs updating. We had a lovely holiday in a lovely area. Thank you.

Mrs J,

Stunning view and a peaceful location. Sadly the apartment needs bringing up to a higher standard to justify the cost.

Mr Y,

Excellent location. Good walks on the door step.

Mrs C,

Fantastic location and the views from the apartment are stunning. Some areas in the apartment could do with a makeover (bathroom and bedroom walls) and a little more thought on what equipment is provided.

Mrs T,

Sssssshhhhh. This is a very secret jewel in the Gower. I have returned to Redcliffe for many years. Brought babies and grandchildren to experience pure joy on the safest and cleanest beach and sea. It has not changed. The apartments are perfectly sited.

Mrs P,

Location

The sandy beach at Caswell is popular all year with locals and visitors alike and lies within a half mile long bay, nestled behind the Mumbles Headland). There is easy access to the beach for people with limited mobility and good facilities for families with young children make this one of the Gower's most visited beaches. Popular activities include swimming and sea kayaking as well as surfing when conditions allow. The beach side shop is well stocked with all the essentials for building sandcastles and refreshments are available at cafes alongside the beach. Away from the beach, more shops and services are available in the nearby village of Bishopston and in the Mumbles. The beach is close to Bishop's Wood Local Nature reserve, designated trails within the Nature Reserve link with the coast path in this area. The coast path east towards Langland offers fine views across the Bristol channel to north Devon.
