Description

This beautifully finished, sympathetically renovated home is situated adjacent to the Gower Peninsular. Ideal for families looking for an active holiday in Gower, while also being within an easy drive of the attractions of this picturesque part of Wales.

In 1956 the Gower Peninsula was the first place in the United Kingdom to be designated as Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty located to the west of Swansea. Known for its stunning landscapes, charming villages, and beautiful beaches. You choose from Langstone, Caswell, Pobbles, Three Cliff, Tor Bay, Oxwich, Rhossili , Llangennith and Broughton all within 15 miles. Swansea itself is a coastal city with rich history, diverse culture, and offers a range of attractions, including Swansea Bay beach, Blackpill beach front toddlers Lido, Clyne Valley Country Park, the new Swansea Arena, Swansea Leisure Centre, the National Waterfront Museum, and the Swansea Marina all within 5 miles.

Church View has been stylishly furnished with a light and airy feel, with its contemporary décor and comfortable seating, making it an ideal home for family holidays. On the ground floor is a furnished lounge with comfortable soft seating and a Smart TV. The open plan dining/kitchen area has a seating area with sofas and large patio doors leading out to a generous patio and the garden. A handy downstairs shower room, and utility room, is located off the kitchen with a WC. The kitchen/diner overlooking the patio and garden is equipped to a high standard. The first floor is reached by stairs from the hall and encompasses a family bathroom with one twin room and 2 double bedrooms each with ensuites. A fourth bedroom is located on this also floor, and is available by request.

At the back of the house is a large patio with outdoor seating where you can enjoy your morning coffee or evening drinks admiring the sunset.

There is a large enclosed garden set to lawn for the children to enjoy.

Reviews

What a wonderful stay! So much space and a great location. We really enjoyed our stay. There was everything we needed in the kitchen... even a pastry brush! Upstairs the bedrooms were spacious and had lovely views. We visited in March so didn't have the opportunity to use the fantastic garden. Just means we need to visit again when its warmer weather. Will definitely come back!

Mrs C,

Enjoyed our stay. Would certainly recommend & book again. Good location and good parking. Very large house, lots of room. Comfortable, well furnished and well equipped. Clean and bright. Very comfortable double beds. Good heating system. Excellent showers (4 !)

Mr E,

A fantastic house - great for entertaining and socialising. The facilities and cleanliness were exceptional.

Mrs P,

Cottage is spacious and fairly clean, views must be nice as we couldn't enjoy but had a little look in the morning and left for graduation at 9.30am. we booked it for two nights but checked out at 19:15 on the second day. It is good for 4 or 5 people or 4 couples depending on the need.

Mrs J,

Excellent property and brilliantly located to explore the Gower and Swansea area! Catered really well for a three generation family break with ample off road parking, four good sized bedrooms and loads of open downstairs space leading onto a large garden which the kids loved running up and down. Nice walk through a wooded area nearby down to the sea (approx 4km) as well as loads of sandy beaches within a short drive. Indian restaurant round the corner also very good. Will definitely return again. Thank you.

Mr F,

Fantastic property all round. So much space, although the living room was quite small for the size of the property. The bedrooms were excellent, two with en-suites which was a god-send. Property was very clean and plenty of equipment in the kitchen, with a dishwasher, oven, microwave and washing machine in the separate utility room. Having a further shower and toilet off the utility room was a bonus! The garden was huge with a patio and patio furniture with gas bbq. It's just a shame the weather wasn't good enough to sit out there. The only thing we weren't keen on was the bi-fold doors. Very heavy and were advised not to open them if it was too windy. Not terribly safe with two children in our party. All in all though a fantastic property with lots of space, 4 bedrooms, 2 with en-suites and a separate bathroom. Centrally located for Swansea and the Gower and close to local shops and pubs. If you are considering eating in The Black Boy, I would book as it gets very busy. Would definitely recommend this property.

Mrs C,

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It had everything we needed and more! And would recommend it to all my family and friends!! We look forward to returning. A great find!!

Mr A,

Beautiful home nesstled away in a sleepy town. Property is very spacious, clean, and lovely views.

Mrs P,

Lovely home, whilst a bit of a drive from both Swansea town centre and the various beaches, it was in a great, quiet neighborhood. Fab big garden with lots of places to sit, relax and play.

Mrs G,

The home is beautiful and the amenities were excellent. The overall location and the grounds offer a beautiful view with everything you need being close by. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved the place.

Mr S,

We really appreciated the location, comfort and overall space at Church View House.
