How to get to Gower and Swansea
By car
The M4 motorway brings you directly to Swansea from London and the south east of England with connections to the M6, M5, M32, M42 and M50.
By train
Frequent train services run direct from London Paddington, Bristol, Manchester and Cardiff to Swansea, with good connections from the north east, south and south west of England. There are also fast rail/air links to Swansea from Gatwick, Heathrow, Bristol and Cardiff International Airports. The scenic Heart of Wales line also runs a direct service from Swansea to Shrewsbury.

National Express coaches operate frequent bus services to Swansea from central London, Gatwick and Heathrow Airports, west and south Yorkshire; the west Midlands and Cardiff.

Cardiff International Airport is under an hour’s journey by car from Swansea. It operates scheduled flights from many major European destinations and domestic flights from Aberdeen, Anglesey, Belfast, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Jersey and Newcastle.

Sailings operate between Rosslare and Fishguard or Pembroke Dock, both a 90 minute road journey away from Swansea.
