Description

'The Gite' is a spacious, stylish studio apartment positioned conveniently on the outskirts of Mumbles. This quality accommodation caters perfectly for 2 people and provides the ideal base to explore the bustling streets of Mumbles, just a 15 minute walk away or the peaceful surroundings of the Gower Peninsula is only a short drive from 'The Gite'.

Accommodation

Kitchen/Diner: Microwave, toaster, kettle, ceramic hob, fan oven, washing machine and tumble dryer. Dining table and chairs for 2.

Lounge/Bedroom: King zip and link bed, 2-seat sofa, armchair, wardrobe and chest of drawers. Flatscreen TV. French doors lead onto patio and garden.

Shower Room: Large shower cubicle, WC and wash basin.

External: The level paved area in front of 'The Gite' is a perfect space to enjoy the summer sun with use of a table and chairs.

Sleeps 2: 1 King (zip and link)

The flat is really lovely and the hosts delightful ; we forgot to thank them for their delicious welcome gift ! I am from the area originally and it was a family visit, but there was a lot of useful information in the file in the flat if you are on holiday. I tend to be a bad sleeper, but the place is quiet and the bed comfortable so slept well here . Great location for visiting beautiful Gower peninsula

The Gite was well placed for exploring the Gower the Mumbles and Swansea. The hosts Steve and Dave were welcoming and a mine of information. The Gite was clean and bigger than we thought, the kitchen was well equipped the bathroom was adequate and the living area comfortable. We would consider booking another week.

We really enjoyed our week at the Gite and found it to be clean, comfortable and well-equipped for our needs. The patio is delightful and has sea views, it is set above attractive landscaped gardens. We found it was a perfect base to explore the Mumbles and the Gower coast and we hope to return.

The Gite is great, very nicely furnished and equipped with everything you need from a holiday rental. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We have stayed in Mumbles and surrounding area many times so enjoyed walking the coastal path to Langland and Caswell Bay's as well as enjoying the shops, bars and restaurants Mumbles has to offer.

Mumbles is the first pretty fishing village one meets when venturing away from Swansea towards the world acclaimed area of outstanding beauty known as the Gower. It is a great place to set up your base either to explore the myriad activities in, around and along the coastline or to settle and just luxuriate in the local resources that make Mumbles a great destination in its own right.
