Description

This characterful and attractive 3-bedroom Fisherman's cottage was built in 1850 circa. Sitting in an elevated position in Thistleboon: one of the original parts of Mumbles village it offers partial bay views from the front patio and bedroom 3. The cottage, which is comfortably appointed throughout provides accommodation for 4 people in 1 double bedroom and 2 single bedrooms. The property benefits from being in a quiet location, whilst the seafront and the amenities of Mumbles are only minutes away.

Kitchen: Gas oven and hob, washing machine and fridge/freezer.

Shower Room: Glass basin and large shower cubicle.

Master Bedroom: Double bed and hanging rail.

Bedroom 2: 1 single bed.

Bedroom 3: 1 single bed.

Bathroom: Bath, WC and basin.

External: There is a small sitting area to the front of the property.

On-road unrestricted parking less than 2-minute walk away. Although this road has areas of unrestricted parking they can be in short supply at certain times. It is now possible to apply for a temporary Holiday Parking Permit which will allow you to park in the residents only bays.

Off loading and loading up the car is very difficult on this very steep one way lane. Dog walking is superb and the view from the Nature Reserve is outstanding.

Mumbles is the first pretty fishing village one meets when venturing away from Swansea towards the world acclaimed area of outstanding beauty known as the Gower. It is a great place to set up your base either to explore the myriad activities in, around and along the coastline or to settle and just luxuriate in the local resources that make Mumbles a great destination in its own right.
