Reviews

Lovely and spacious cottage in an excellent location, close to all amenities. Very well equipped with plenty of instructions on how appliances work, etc. We found a parking place further up the lane which was fine. A great spot for exploring The Mumbles, Swansea and surrounding places of interest.

Mrs J,

Lovely, homely cottage set right in the heart of mumbles. Very well appointed with its own secure rear garden and garage. Positioning of the property is excellent, with the shops, cafes, coffee shops, restaurants and bars of Mumbles being only a few minutes walk away. Parking can be found either outside or very nearby for smaller vehicles but we managed to park a larger one very close by with ease. Use of the secure garage was really useful for our bikes etc. we would not hesitate to recommend this property and we will definitely be booking for future visits.

Mr B,

Have stayed here 3 times now we love where the house is as its very close to all the amenities and the house itself is very homely and comfy.

Mrs B,

Great location. Easy parking.

Mrs S,

Lovely, comfortable cottage in perfect location for a holiday in the Mumbles. Everything is literally on the doorstep! Food shops, Cafes and bars, the Esplanade is a few minutes walk away offering stunning views around the bay which stretches for miles. It is just a 10 minute walk to Rotherslade and Langland beaches which are absolutely stunning. Cottage is well equipped and has a lovely garden. It also benefits from having a parking space and a garage as well as views of the castle and beach. We didn’t want to leave!

Miss J,

Second time we stayed in the cottage, everything you need is there. Perfect locatation, for just visiting Mumbles but also for doing nice walking!

Mr P,

Lovely cottage, walking distance to sea front. Comfy bed, 2 bathroom (1 with bath, 1 with shower). There are parking spaces but off very narrow road - so tricky.

Mrs K,

Spent a week in Oyster Cottage. Location fabulous and the cottage very well equipped. Everything we needed. Garden very overlooked but this didnt bother us at all as neighbours very friendly. Extremely quiet and peaceful at night.

Mrs M,

Second time at oyster cottage here-we will be booking again for October We love it Really great location too and the garage is a godsend

Mrs J,

Good location didn't use any of cooking facilities eating out Good fish shop around the corner

Mr N,

Quiet, comfortable and good location.

Ms H,

The property is extremely well located in Mumbles. Perfect for walking to the centre for the shops, restaurants, Cafes et cetera and also great for walking to the nearby beaches. It also has parking which is unusual in the Mumbles as well as a safe enclosed garden for a dog. We were very comfortable at the property and appreciated having two bathrooms. Although the property is very centrally located, it is also extremely quiet and has views of the castle as well as partial views of the seafront from the upstairs bedroom which was lovely.

Miss J,

Definitely a ‘home from home’. Very cosy and very well equipped with the added benefit of a parking space outside the cottage as well as a garage, the smaller the car the better in Mumbles!

Mrs V,

Very nice cottage and friendly neighbours. Great location, especially for early morning and late evening dog walks over at the castle. Also good for car trips out. Easy walk to shops and sea. Plenty hot water for showers etc. beds fairly comfortable and generally good standard of cleanliness.

Mrs J,

Very nice cottage, everything what you want is available, very nice location, close to the centre and the beach

Mr P,

Good location, comfortable, well equipped- lovely area

Mr A,

Location

Mumbles is the first pretty fishing village one meets when venturing away from Swansea towards the world acclaimed area of outstanding beauty known as the Gower. It is a great place to set up your base either to explore the myriad activities in, around and along the coastline or to settle and just luxuriate in the local resources that make Mumbles a great destination in its own right.
