Description

This 2-bedroom holiday home is situated very close to the seafront in Norton, just a 10 minute walk from the centre of Mumbles. It offers spacious holiday accommodation for up to 4 people with the added benefit of off road parking.

The seafront promenade is a short stroll where you can wander along to Blackpill (20 minutes) or stroll into Mumbles (10 minutes).

Norton House offers great restaurant food or afternoon tea and is only a minutes' walk whilst the traditional Beaufort Pub is just a little further. From the rear of the property there is also a lovely woodland walk through Oystermouth Woods to the castle.

Ground Floor

Kitchen: Double oven and an induction hob, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave.

Reception: The dining/sitting room has a table with 4 chairs, two 2-seated sofas and an armchair, feature fireplace, flatscreen TV/DVD player and an echo dot.

Cloakroom: WC and basin.

First Floor

Bedroom 1: King size bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Bedroom 2: 2 single beds.

Bathroom: Shower cubicle, separate bath, WC and basin.

External: Patio doors open onto a small enclosed courtyard garden, which backs onto a green with views over Swansea Bay.

Other than the maintenance issues highlighted everything else was fine, and the property was generally clean elsewhere. We were very happy with the property otherwise.

Location

Mumbles is the first pretty fishing village one meets when venturing away from Swansea towards the world acclaimed area of outstanding beauty known as the Gower. It is a great place to set up your base either to explore the myriad activities in, around and along the coastline or to settle and just luxuriate in the local resources that make Mumbles a great destination in its own right.
