Description

A 3-bedroom, pet friendly, Georgian-styled terraced town house which has been beautifully presented and is set in a quiet location close to Mumbles village and the coastal path at Limeslade. Langland Bay can be reached on foot via the coastal path or in less than 5 minutes in a car. For cricket fans, Mumbles Cricket Club is 150 metres away (with licensed bar).

Limeslade is a coastal area of Mumbles offering easy access to the coastal path which leads to Rotherslade and Langland Bay if you head west and Mumbles pier, lighthouse and village if you head east.

At the bottom of Limeslade is Bracelet Bay and Limeslade Bay - both great for rock pooling with the kids. Bracelet Bay is flanked on one side by the historic Mumbles Lighthouse and on the other side by Castellamare Italian Restaurant/cafe/bar which offers stunning views across the bay. Fortes ice cream parlour overlooks Limeslade Bay.

Reviews

Beautiful little house, very well maintained, spotlessly clean and very well equipped kitchen . Beds were so comfortable. Highly recommended

Mr C,

On arrival the cleanliness was sloppy, there was food debris in the kitchen drawers, rusty kitchen utensils, dust on the fridge and cobwebs in the lounge, this should have been spotless prior to arrival, I didn't make this known at the time as I really didn't want anyone in cleaning having after driven 9 hours. Property location is brilliant for Mumbles, Limeslade and Bracelet Bays. The spot allocated for parking which was meant to be at the rear of the property adjacent to the wall, someone else had parked there for the duration of our visit. This property is not a cosy cottage if this is what you're looking for, it is a fairly new build property with no character on a residential estate. Not happy also with the 'damage deposit', either pay £250 refundable if no damage, or £25 deposit waiver, the latter just feels as if it is a stealthy way to charge more as not everyone can afford the £250.

Mr P,

Great location a short walk from Limeslade Bay.

Mr B,

This property is a good comfortable property with great beds and sofas.

Mrs M,

Very nice new-build property, lacking those finishing touches to make it welcoming, quite messy and unloved, but overall a perfectly adequate base, lovely lounge, decent beds and clean bedding. Having a car is essential due to hills and distances but parking quite challenging, the local residents were unhappy with the house being a holiday home.

Ms M,

Set in a pleasant residential area. The actual property is of good quality but it is now shabby and needs some tlc. Large appliances work well, but shortcomings in crockery and glassware. The servicing is basic … postage stamp sized towels, no toilet rolls, washing up or cleaning materials and certainly no welcome pack. All in all an acceptable but basic experience.

Mrs S,

The actual accommodation was very good.

Mrs S,

Fabulous location close to the coastal path, and a short walk to Rotherslade Bay. About 12 minute walk to Mumbles centre. We had a lovely comfortable stay here. The back patio/garden area is a little neglected but we didn't use it much anyway. We would stay here again.

Mrs S,

Cosy modern house, well fitted out in a good, quiet location. Parking space is not adequate, sloped and narrow with a drop at the end but parking available in street.

Ms B,

Location

Limeslade, just beyond Mumbles head in south Gower, is the perfect holiday location within walking distance of pretty coves and fabulous beaches as well as a host of leisure attractions for people of all ages
