Reviews

Brilliant property situated very close to the Welsh Coast Path. Highly recommended. Easy to walk in to Mumbles to visit shops/restaurants and easy to get to Caswell in the other direction. Close to the excellent Langlands Brasserie.

Mr H,

Beach Rocks is a beautiful holiday house in a most stunning location with wonderful views across Langland Bay. We wanted a peaceful quite weeks holiday after a busy few weeks and this property was perfect. Perfect location for visiting the Gower Peninsula which had some of the best beaches and coastlines probably in the UK. Absolutely stunning and not too far to travel. The owners Blanche and Mark were very pleasant and made sure we were happy with our stay. Would most definitely recommend and would certainly return one day.

Mr S,

Beach Rocks is a spectacular place to stay. The full glass frontage of the house allows you to stare out across the Bay from the minute you wake up. The accommodation was perfect for us (3 adults), with a comfortable sitting area, 2 bathrooms, dining area, and modern, well-equipped kitchen. There was a luxury hamper when we arrived containing lots of special Welsh treats and a very well written and informative guide to the house and the area. The nearby Coastal Path is great for strolling to the neighbouring Bays and the beautiful, sandy beaches are ideal for family holidays. The Mumbles has lots of nice shops and cafes and we also visited the Abercrave Caves, Swansea, Cardiff and Barry Island. Langland Bay is ideal for swimming and surfing and there were always people in the water and even a very friendly seal!

Ms C,

A luxurious seaside home - the perfect escape for our family of three. The owners have thought of everything and we can’t wait to return. Thank you

Mrs R,

Lovely accommodation in really great location. Great views and peaceful area. Langlands brasserie on the doorstep, wonderful walks along the coast with seals to watch.

Mrs M,

We have just returned from our second holiday in this lovely property. The house is stylish, well equipped and is perfectly situated for the beach and coastal walks in both directions . The nearby Brasserie serves consistently good food . Langland Bay has become our favourite spot on the Gower coast and Beach Rocks is the ideal property to stay in .

Mrs M,

Very modern property with high end appliances and furniture. The beds are super comfortable and the towels are extremely soft. Superb view can be seen from both the bedroom and lounge/kitchen which rivals any others in the area. Spotlessly clean throughout. The back garden can be a real suntrap especially in the morning. Short walk to the beach and to access the costal paths taking you to Caswell and Mumbles. Parking for 1 car and public electric charges in the car park at the end of the road. Nice touch with the welcome hamper. Thanks, we will come again

Mr I,

Beach Rocks lived up to our expectations and beyond. The location was idyllic, loved Langland Bay and all the other capes and bays, this was our first visit to The Gower and hopefully it will not be our last. For an AONB it was certainly outstanding! The details of Beach Rocks made it unique in many ways, loved the lights on the stairs and the generous width, the larger than average doors added a great feel to the property. We did worry about the pristine white surface and sink, we lay the kitchen towel ( folded in half) over the draining board to give protection. Would have preferred curtains in the bedroom really, then you could pop your head through them to weigh up the weather, and also open them a tad to see out while in bed without feeling you could be seen! However, the concept and design throughout was inspired, we really enjoyed life in a box, but what a box, and what a view!!

Mrs E,

Fantastic home from home. Hosts very helpful and lovely welcome pack will be back soon.

Mr R,

Such a great location for walking the coastal path, going into Mumbles and walking to restaurants. We walked to the Brasserie, Gin and Tapas and Gin and juice. I would highly recommend all 3. The views from the windows were fabulous. A real treat of a place to recharge the batteries.

Mrs S,

Excellent location, lovely property with great views. Exactly as advertised.

Mr S,

Beach rocks is an excellent property, extremely comfortable and excellently located to explore the Gower.

Mr H,

The property is beautiful , contemporary and well furnished . The location is perfect , great views .

Mrs M,

We visited this property for the first time 18 months ago. The property is still of a high quality, with a lovely view. However, the standard of cleaning has deteriorated. The patio was so dirty, we could not sit outside. It had obviously not been cleaned for weeks. Inside the property, it was generally clean, but some corners had cobwebs, and we had to finish cleaning the kitchen sink. The coffee machine was jammed with around 10 coffee pods. We emptied and cleaned it. Regarding the website, it would have been more helpful to specify the contents of the welcome pack, especially that clients need to bring their own milk. Despite these misgivings and disappointments, we would stay here again, as it is a lovley property.

Mrs Ann R,

Location

The areas of Langland and Rotherslade are two of the most prestigious in all of Swansea and south Gower with an interesting mix of villas, houses and apartments nestled into hilly, coastal landscapes. Only a 15 minute walk from the centre of Mumbles, they sit neatly between the beaches of Caswell and Limeslade and are popular all-year round destinations for both visitors and locals alike
