Description

Only a minute walk from the pretty bay of Port Eynon is this beautifully renovated double fronted cottage. The cottage is set in its own grounds and has a sweeping driveway featuring a cherry tree with off street parking for at least 3 cars.

Inside, the cottage is generously proportioned and has been comfortably furnished with many additional extras to ensure the comfort of guests, such as free WiFi and an electric car charging port.

Although Port Eynon is particularly popular during the summer months it remains a sleepy village and is the perfect location for a quiet getaway. Whilst there are many scenic coastal walks from your doorstep, Oxwich Bay is roughly 10 minutes by car, or in the opposite direction there is Rhossili Bay with its magnificent stretch of golden sand.

Reviews

Excellent cottage, perfect location in the very centre of Porteynon. Very comfortable, all facilities (apart from a couple of outdoor chairs). We had our dog with us so the secure garden was ideal. Would recommend to anyone.

Mr H,

Basic cottage clean but needs freshening up possibly with new ground floor furniture, salt and pepper pots would be handy.

Mr K,

Overall, Cherry Tree Cottage was a lovely property in a lovely location. The property was bigger than expected and laid out well. There were two fridges which was great. The mattresses were pretty comfortable, which is often not the case when you're away. There were a few minor issues, which I have raised since leaving, and hopefully they will be addressed. Nothing that needed immediate attention. We would definitely stay there again should we choose to return.

Mrs H,

Very clean and comfortable. Great location just a short stroll from the beach. Our few days were very enjoyable and relaxing, especially the log burner after our long walks from the front door. Having a pub a stones throw was also pretty handy.

Mr G,

Location

A bay on the Gower peninsula has been voted Britain's best beach.
