Heading to Wales and want a family day out to remember? Cefn Mably Farm is the place to be! And it’s just 6 miles from Wales’ cosmopolitan capital!
Start the day off by relaxing with a coffee and a slice of delicious home-made cake as the little ones jump, slide and climb around the exciting soft play barn. And when they’re worn out with that, head to the go-karts or real diggers for some true Welsh fun!
Down on the farm, the kids will love feeding and holding some of the adorable fluffy animals, riding the beautiful ponies and running free in the large opened spaced play area.
With so much family fun to be had, you’re sure to work up an appetite at Cefn Mably Farm, so don’t forget to visit the centre’s renowned farm shop and butchery to pick up some good old fashioned twenty-eight-day matured steak for your dinner or some mouth-watering home-made smoky bacon for your breakfast!

Cefn Mably Farm offers brilliant Birthday packages, so if you’re visiting Wales during that special date, be sure to book a party! Birthday parties at the farm are charged per child and include park entry plus one accompanying adult for each child.

The park is open every day from 10am – 5pm and is incredibly easy to find. Take exit 28 off the M4 at Newport Tredegar Park. At the roundabout take the A48 towards Cardiff and stay on the road for approximately 2.5 miles until you reach Castleton.
From there, follow the brown and white signs opposite the petrol station. Alternatively, use CF3 6XL if you’re following a Sat Nav.
